Yes, there is no doubt left in it, Why only successful why not the super power and numero-uno, the present trend which is continueing in the development of the country will take us to become successful in a short period compared to the western world which took years, as the latest technologies were not available to them earlier. Today India has the best IT, Engineering, Management and Financial consultants available, who earlier helped and at presently helping the other countries develop are working in developing their own country. This solid proof will prove the fact that our country becomes successfull earlier as they are applying all their past experiences for the future. Earlier Indian's use to go to other countries in search of better carriers today best carriers are available in India even for the MNCs, that is why many MNC's are either coming to India or having tie-ups with Indian companies shows the development is heading which way.

I can only guess you mean will India become more successful than it is today in Science and Technology. To that I say, Yes, without a doubt. It's happening as we speak. The country is quickly leaving behind the bad lessons it learned from the soviet union and mixing it's democratic traditions with entrepreneurial zeal. The Indian culture has always put a high value on education, hard work, and achievement.

Goodness, but I sound like a commercial for India. The country is not without it's problems, like income gaps and the caste system, but on the whole, I think India will quickly by-pass China on the road to prosperity.

No, they arent interesting so better read the media hogging discussions that are not based on factual figures which many hard working professionals work on day-and-night for e.g. economists.
