Its possible, and its rare! Its happened before in the history of the universe. Its not visible to us and no one knows where the two universes come together in perfect aligbment. Perhaps that's how the aliens enter our universe. What do you think?

I'm sure this is a stupid question but here goes...The shuttle launch will be at night & if the weather is cold & clear is there anyway to see it from North Carolina? Provided I'm on top of some mountain and know exactly which direction to look. The curvature of the Earth would probably obscure the initial launch however I'm thinking that there's a chance of seeing the light from the shuttle's blast as it ascends to orbit. What do y'all think???

Its a new theory that would explane black hole like objects but without violating the laws of physics like current black hole theorys do... If you dont know what im talking about dont worry theres hardly anything on the web that explains it very well because I think the theory is still kinda going through growing pains :) but basicaly its just a giant vaccume cleaner that looks like a black hole and converts energy in a funky way.

Like this one:

http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&q=Antarctica&ie=UTF8&z=6&ll=-78.043795,170.244141&spn=2.055651,21.972656&t=k&om=1

Why the distortion? What could possible be in Antarctica that "they" don't want us to see?

I have learned that it takes 23 hours 56 minutes 4 seconds for the earth to rotate on its axis. Why isn't it exactly 24 hours? What makes one second one second? I would like to know what the length of a unit of time is based on.

Well the problem is that when I try to use the paddle to move the scope around the scope will just move to the sides (left and right) or the front of the scope upwards. I press the downwards key but the scope doesnt seem to have enough power to move downwards...strange thing is that when I try to stabilize the scope horizontally, the scope seems to slide out of position, the front sliding upwards and the back part downwards...like if it couldn't stay positioned. Someone said to me the problem could be the batteries...but when the scope is off it remains with the front part upwards (that being the part that actually focus on objects), which means that the back portion slides as if the arm holding the scope was full of oil. What can be the problem? Thanks.
