I have not been able to find much on this topic: Why do planets appear to wander, while stars do not? Is it because the stars are not in our solar system and are not revolving with the planets? If someone could explain this, I would greatly appreciate it.

from a friend of mine cuz he doesn't use anymore & my 2 kids(12 & 11)would love it. Perfect ages! However ( please take this comment w/ humor) being the MAN that he is, TOSSED the instructions years ago. I realize that over the years things do get lost, tossed or just plain worn out. But when he bought the scope he hand crafted a beautiful oak case - foam inside - lense pockets - accessories pockets - tripod case to match etc. So that is why I tease about the intructions. Enough babbling My question is where can I get information about this. I do have a slip of paper with the "One year Warranty" printed on it and at the bottom is company name and address. No phone #. I have searched with great frustration and all i get is e-bay sites shop sites etc. I guess I could write to them but I would prefer to get info online

When in orbit, the Earth is constantly "below" the spaceship but when is the spaceship upside down and when is it the right way up? How about when the spaceship is flying through space?

Is there a "right way up" in Space?

for about the past 2 weeks i have been outside at night and looked up to see an amber colored star that was twinkling. Each night the color seemed to change a little bit.finally the past 5 or 6 nights it has been blinking different colors such as green, blue, purple, orange and red. all in soft tones of color but not like a pastel. its quite noticable though. its not quite as big and bright as the north star. so i know its not a tall light pole dont give a dumb answer please, im not on an acid trip or anything. i do live close to cherry point marine corps air station and camp lejeune marine corps base so dont know if perhaps it is an extremely slow plane or something they have going on. but it is far away so im pretty sure it is a star. it stays in the same place for at least 30 minutes and sometimes it will stop shining completely for a few minutes. (i dont think its clouds passing over though b/c i could still see all the surrounding stars.)
