I have read about Armand Fizeau used a rotating wheel, And Albert Michealson's device, but nothing that i have read has given real exact instructions how to construct a device that could do it. I am not looking for accuaracy as much as i am consistancy. Dont bother giving me a post saying its not possible, because it is. I just want some brilliant mind to explain how the different machines worked, and how i could build one.

Why do people say the ammount of water in the ocean will decrease when the polar ice caps melt? Wont it actually lower. We must remember that water has more volume when it is frozen, so it must also, at the same time displace more water. This means that when it melts, it will take much less space and thus will actually cause the water level to lower..right? Thats what ive been thinking upon..I WILL pick a best answers...so i appreciate your opinion...

Scientists claim to have breached the answer to "Dark Matter". I am a huge fan of Stephen Hawking and his work. I want to know what HE thinks. I realize that the chances of getting an answer are slim, so any other fans feel free to speculate.

The reason is that I'm so drawn buy these things, I like egyption art, Native-American art, and other works of art. Fairys, vamps, marine life are cool too. I have always like these things. Whats so wierd is that when I was a little girl and went to the Tenn. Aquarium, went up to the dolphan tank and it's belly turned pink (bushing). I'm from the islands and went swimming with the dolphans and it happened there also. I think it was 1 or 2 years before going to the Tenn. Aquarium.

Last i heard they had to abandon it because they could not afford to keep up repairs! Did it fall back down to earth? If so where did it fall? If it did fall back to earth could have it created the sunami?
Before anybody say's it drifted into space, remember about earths gravity pulling it towords the earth.

I think the best way to describe dark matter, at the time of creation or as some call the big bang vacuum expansion of our Universe. May have for example started out as a expansion vacuum mass of 30 inches of vacuum at the creation point and spread out to rest at a massive universe of zero inches of vacuum. Then this great vacuum expansion of space would be able to create rip holes within itself that are black holes that have a greater vacuum warp within this Universe.

I have a crazy theory that during the last ice age a small group of eary humans where taken from earth by a group of aliens that thought that this race of self aware beings would become extinct by this hostile environment, so they transplanted them on a world suited to there physiology and left them to there own path on this new world. How would a slight change in the gravity of the planet make a differents in there evolution, say the gravity was 1.37 G's compaired to that of earth's 1.0 G environment, would a Parallel evolution happen or would it be a Convergent evolution or would evolution happen at all, i mean 10,000 years since the last ice age isn't a long time in the grand scale of things, would this be enough time for any physiological developments to appear in these early human cousins.?
