It's been a speculation for quite some time...now we seem to have more evidence that shows the first moon landing in 1969 could have indded been a hoax

pluto and chaorn orbits a point in space so if u say charon is the moon of pluto, then how about pluto is the moon of charon???

original defintion of planet is good and they only count up to 12 because later on , they will keep on adding more, so dont say original definition suck.

i encourage u to read the words of the proposal it say the IF THE BARYCENTRE OF THE MOON AND PLANET IS INSIDE THE MOON, IT IS A MOON, WHICH MEANS ALL THE MOONS IN THE SOLAR SYTEM WOULD STILL BE A MOON, except CHARON!

so dont tell me the original one is not good because the moons would all become planets then...they wont, read a little!

What I was meaning was if planets are made by lots of particles from, space being attracted together- don't know if that's true at all- then how do lots of the same particles become attracted together to make the cores of planets different from each other rather than all of them attracting the same particles and being identical? Also, was there a time when there was nothing at all in space? If so then how did things suddenly come into being?

The Bible Thumpers who insist on invading every discussion on the origins of the universe here are basically proposing Genesis as an alternate theory of the beginning of time. I realize that we probably aren't going to be changing anyone's mind, but can't we scientifically PROVE that at least some of Genesis is inaccurate? Please cite your sources and be objective. We're representing science here.

Clearly, if even PART of it is inaccurate, then a literal interpretation of Genesis becomes impossible to trust.

I think would be a very interesting topic of discussion. Welcome, Genesis, to the Scientific Method.
