If the universe is infinite and forever expanding and IF, hypothetically speaking, IF we had the technology to almost magically travel to the end of the universe, what would one expect to...find? Or what would be there?

If we had the technology to exactly, precise, travel in a extremely precise and accurate straight line, without encountering objects getting in the way, would we get to the end of the universe, or is the universe curved and we've be going in circle?

In our pub, Skinner puts the bizarre questions. "If it was confirmed that an asteroid was about to smash into the earth, leaving only the USA to spin off and survive, would you rush over there?"

I believe that the Universe is in the form of a sponge.
The big bang created our bubble With a black hole in the centre and a Galaxy surrounding it created by a Supernova or something beyond our present understanding.
. The universe is constant. has always been here and always will.

If they are in orbit, don't they go all around the world? If they do, how come I get reception 24/7?

There were ideas in the making for a space elevator. A tower some 65,000 feet up anchored down to earth by magnetism. The top would be supported by orbiting satellites. The actual craft that would go up and down this tower would be cargo ships that could be placed in sub orbit then onward to open space. There was even drawing of a modified vehicle (shaped like the space shuttle) that could carry passengers on a sight-seeing excurison to watch the sunset. It would be kept on the tower that was made of some nano metals using huge magnets.

I just read a question about a parallel universe, but I don't know the theory of it.

I want to show some kids just how spread out the solar system is. I want to show an orange as the sun, some object of the correct relative size as the earth and tell them how far apart they would be.

I know it makes good visual drama, but isn't the "space-dust bathtub effect" incorrect? A star in its lifetime is a sphere. When a star collapses into a black hole, wouldn't it naturally continue to be spherical? In that case, we wouldn't see the "space vortex". Wouldn't we just see a 3D nebula that gets progressively thicker towards its center?

To me its that all life on earth will end in 5 billion years cuz the sun is gonna blow up, so stupid...

does anybody think its possible that "aliens", from places that we cant see yet, are looking at the early earth? or will they just see a lump of rock, and try and find something more interesting to look at?

If there is, then would not some of those other close-lying universes have an influence on the development of our own universe? Could not the eventual overlapping of universes have an effect on the longevity of our universe? Could not the additional mass added to our own universe by the penetration of foreign galaxies (from other universes) precipitate the contraction of our universe? And, would not the three-dimensional meeting of several universes mark the limits of expansion of at least one of them (perhaps the one that was stretched the thinnest) so that it would then start to contract? Would not this contraction then suck galaxies from other universes toward its center so that the resulting “big bang” would result in material from several universes being fused together and then spewed back out into space, resulting in an even diffusion of material throughout the universes of "the total universe?"
Thank you for your consideration on this matter.

This time I'm not asking what is beyond but I'm asking what's the point of asking ourselves what is beyond the universe, what is out there ?

Earth spins around the sun and it also spins itself from left to right. In that case why sun comes over head like vertically rather than going horizontal.
