It certainly takes tremendous energy to cling endlessly to the fridge by magnetic energy.
Science tells us, such an expenditure of energy requires that a power source be drawn upon to support such effort. there isn’t a power source in sight!

s(t)=t^3 +12t^2 +36t + 4
where t is greater than or equal to 0.

a. What is the average velocity of the particle on the interval [3, 6] ?

b. Find c in [3, 6] so the velocity at c is equal to the average velocity you found in the pervious question.

c.When is the particle's acceleration positive? negative?

d. When is the particle speeding up? slowing down?

1. When I was in high school, and right after my grandmother passed, I arrived home one day after school. Went downstairs put a load of clothes in. Heard a woman say my name and I thought it was my mom so I yelled upstairs that I was in the basement. This happened twice again as she called my two more times. When I went upstairs I said aloud "Didn't you hear me. I said I was downstairs." No one was there.

2. One night after putting my little brother to sleep, I was lying in bed trying to get to sleep. I remember being unable to move and a light sort of like moonlight on water was on my closet door and I heard what I thought was my grandmother call my name. It lasted for a few seconds. Then the light disappeared.

3. I used to stay with my mother and her fiance in his house after I came back from college. I was sleeping in the basement and I heard a sniffing around my face and I felt the sensation of something sniffing me. I couldn't move and didn't see anything.

I want to build a unit large enough to be able to recharge a battery powering an inverter so I can run regular 110-120V appliances. I'm thinking something that will harness the rotational power of a bicycle (21+ gears) and move a magnet thru the solenoid (either direct rotation at the wheel, OR movement in a verticle tube and use an upward force to move the magnet up, with gravity pulling it back down, to simulate shaking) to generate the electricity to recharge a battery.

I'm wondering why this hasn't yet been done and think it could be impracticle if not impossible. But I can't get the idea out of my head.

Can anyone see anything wrong with this idea?
I have the battery (12v, 4.5 A) and inverter. I have a solar panel but that takes too much time to recharge.
