what organism needs the less amount of sleep?

just wondering since we need 8 hours, what about other creatures...is 8 hours long or short compare to other organisms.

Animals without a brain don't need any sleep--like sponges. Others with a very primitive brain probably don't sleep either--like worms, clams, snails, starfishes, etc. Compared to these 8 hours is very long.
