Wednesday night I dreamed I passed an exam I was scheduled to take today. I took it today and passed! So it looks like I'm psychic after all. There is no other explanation for my dream.

I had a premonition, a foreshadowing of that which was destined to come to pass. And I did this without asking my spirit guide to cheat for me.

Maybe I did so well because--as the ganzfeld experiments proved beyond a reasonable doubt--people can anticipate and predict the future when it comes to computers. (I took the exam on a computer.) If I cheated in this manner I swear it was unintentional.

My only concern is I dreamed a score of 70% (the required minimum) but scored an 80%. Could the ganzfeld effect account for this discrepancy, since the results showed a hit rate of between 0% and 8% over that of chance?

from a long straight section of the turnpike. While looking perpendicular to the turnpike he observes a car passing a milepost at high rate of speed. By the time he gets the radar gun pointed at the car the readings show that the car is 5 miles distant and the distance from the officer to the car is changing at the rate of 54 miles per hour. How fast is the car traveling down the turnpike at the instant the reading on the radar gun was taken?

I have two questions that I can't figure out and if you would explain how to do them that would be great!

1. A person wants to make an enclosed play pen using 60 meters of fence. One of the sides is against the house (thus, not requiring any fencing). What are the dimensions of the play pen to get the maximum area?

2. A boat can go 12 mph in calm water. If the boat goes down a river 45 miles and back up the river 45 miles it takes him 8 hours. What is the current of the river?

Thanks in advance!

I can't get the concept intended in my lesson for school.

Here it is:

1146 joules of heat is released when a 100.0 gram sample of an unknown metal cools from 95.00°C to 65.00°C. Determine the specific heat of a metal.

Please explain what you did, so I can get it!

Thank You in advance!

We're told we're going to get six inches of snow in the next 24 hours. That means we'll either get ten, or a mere dusting. What goes into predicting the weather, and why haven't we learned to be more accurate with advancing technologies, better understanding, etc?

[NOTE: the numbers in this problem are unrealistic, but are more simple to work with than a more realistic situation would be.]

When two masses, Mass A and Mass B, are 1.0 m apart, they exert a gravitational force of 1 N on each other. If Mass B is replaced by Mass C which is 200 times greater than Mass B, what will be the gravitational force between Mass A and Mass C?

Remember the equation Fgrav = (mass 1 ) (mass 2)

distance2

(For this problem Mass A = 1 kg, Mass B = 1 kg, Mass C = 200 kg)

Be sure you show how you arrived at your response
