I am very interested in learning more about the multiverse theory. Did the big bang form our universe or did it form all universes? If it only formed our universe, then did it take as many big bangs as there are universes to form all of them?

Can scientists really predict such events? And what if it was going to happen?

1. In a molecule in which the central atom exhibits sp3d2 hybrid orbitals, the electron pairs are directed toward the corners of:

(A) a tetrahedron
(B) a square-based pyramid
(C) a trigonal bipyramid
(D) a square

Someone told me that it was E) an octahedron but I don't understand why. Can someone else why it's an octahedron and not any of the others? I'm confused...thanks so much.

Comet Leaves Mystery Behind
What caused the comet’s explosion is not certain, but it may have collided with a small asteroid. Alternatively, an eruption of gas, ice and dust from within the heart of the comet may have blown up in the Sun’s heat, although the total amount of material ejected in such an explosion would probably be only about 1 per cent of the total mass of the comet. whereas the current explosion has more dust coming out as would happen if it was an asteroid. The latest report is a possible asteroid based on new findings by a past Nasa Astronomer Of The Week . Who works online for Space Environment Center who sent Don Yeomans of NASA's JPL comet /Asteroid team proof the sun did not activate the comet. Details as of who are not given at this point because of the many speculations that is was the sun based on the insane idea that astronomers think it underwent a similar explosion in November 1892.

Lets pretend I had a button that you can push. When you push the button, you are zapped into space as you are when you pushed it, but only for 3 seconds and then you get zapped back on Earth. My question, if you were zapped into space for 3 sec and then zapped back to Earth, would you be dead? Or can you live in space for just a few seconds without no effects.

The following question came off the Mensa Puzzle Calendar for 2007.

"The square of the first number plus the second number equals 7. And the square of the second number plus the first number equals 11."

There's an obvious trivial solution, but there are also three other real solutions. I'm most interested in the 3 other solutions.

Answers must be provided in radical form, *not* as decimal approximations. Are you up to the challenge?
