A FEW Norwegians like Black Metal... It's not that big over here.

Norwegian culture consists traditionally of cross country skiing and other wintersports, fjords and mountains, food such as "smalahove" (sheep's head), potatoes, porridge and other farmer's meals, fairytales from the books Asbjørnsen & Moe including trolls, kings and princesses heroes ++

Petroleum is definitely the largest industry, we have a "oil fund" of a milliards of Norwegian kroner, which is made to ensure the future if there is no more oil.

Maybe you've heard of the design water "Voss"? That's from Norway, from the town Voss... It's sold all over the world, except from Norway...


Norway was last year rated as the best country to live in, but now it's on second place, beaten by Iceland.

We have very many dialects, but more and more are dying. And we have very many different national costumes, these are called "bunad" or "stakk".
