My AP Chem teacher gave us this assignment to do, and i don't know how to do it, so help me please.

The assignment says:
"The best buffers consist of half-neutralized weak acid. When that happens the buffer can resist the greatest amount of added acid or base, and pH=pKa, as shown in the H-H equation.

However, fairly effective buffers can be made where [A-]/[HA] is not exactly 1.00, but farily close (0.20-5.00).

Your task is to select an appropriate weak acid and give directions to make one liter of buffer that will have a pH equal to a given value.

Your buffer can be 0.5-1.0M HA with and appropriate amount of A-."

The pH value given to me was 6.00

Please help me do this.

VW is the median of a trapezoid that has bases MN and PO, with V on OM and W on PN. If the vertices of the trapezoid are M(2,6) , N(4,6), P(10,0), and O(0,0), find the coordinates of V and W. Our teacher said to use Midpoint to figure it out but thats all she said but im confused can someone out there help?

4/2+3x5-2^2

I first solved the exponent, so the new equation is:

4/2+3x5+4

Then I solved the division and multiplication:

2+15+4

which came to equal 21.

Am I right? I don't quite understand this, the answer key I'm using tells me the correct answer is 13.
