In an experiment, I got a non-zero intercept for a graph of applied force versus normal force. What could explain this?

how would the graph of the following look like(since u cant exactly graph them here)
1. x=y^2+2 y^2 means y squared
2. x=y^2-2y
3. y=negative radical 4-x(this is underneath the radical and negative is outside
