A glass apparatus contains 2 gases separated by a valve in the middle which contains 2.00 L of H2 on one side, and 1.00 L of N2 on the other side.

Consider the 2.00 L of H2 at a pressure of 415 torr and 1.00 L of N2 at an unknown pressure. If the total pressure in the flasks is 303 torr after the stopcock is opened, determine the initial pressure of N2 in the 1.00 L flask

Thanks!

If so, by how much? Enough so that the east coast of South America would touch the west coast of Africa? Enough that the oceans would completely cover all the land? It may be a silly question but I was just wondering. Thanks for any replies.

OK. I know they have a cell that senses sunlight which causes them to sleep. So does that mean when they get close to the light during the night they fall asleep at night too? It's like an alcoholic searching for liquor in a church and then falling asleep in front of a bar.

I recently did a chemistry test,
the qoestion was:

experiment A
magnesium ribbon was put in 100cm cubed acid

experiment B
magnesium ribbon was put in 50cm cubed acid and 50cm cubed dillute acid

The question was: What would be the difference in the reactions.

i wrote, no difference because both has 100cm3 acid and they both were magnesium ribbon.

my friend wrote, experiment A would be faster becasue the acid is concentrated.

we both got it right and we stayed back and asked our chemisrty teacher, thought for a while and said "go away"
lol lol lol
i didn't wanted go in more details because i got 100% and i didn't want to loose and marks.

can someone tell me who is right?
