Seeds are the means of reproduction without seeds there would be no more trees or any other plant. Deciduous trees produce flowers that, once pollinated, form the fruit. Fruit can include the dry nuts and grains as well as the fleshy plums, oranges, and olives. The flesh of the fruit is there to protect and feed the seed or lure an animal into eating the seed. Passage through an animals gut prepares the seed to germinate and moves it to a new location away from the parent tree.
The evergreen trees also have seed but not from flowers. Gymnosperm means naked seed. These trees form cones instead of fruit with the seeds nestled under the cone's scales until ripe then the scales lift letting the seeds fall out.
One of my favorite tree seeds are the little flying wings from a maple tree. I love to watch them whirling down, even their name is lovely; samara.

Another seed is in the white fluff from a cottonwood tree. The little seeds get blown about with all the fluff until they end up in white drifts like summer snow.

Not a fair comparison. If you update the Utopian world of A&E to fit today's times, you could imagine a world without disease, where no person is hungry, suffering or homeless. Imagine if God actually appeared, granted all this and even provided every person or family a free home that cost nothing to maintain. What would happen? About 10 minutes after God was done, someone would say, "hey, how come that guy got the house with the really good view", people would start fighting, killing each other and complaining that God didn't care. So I guess a fair comparison of God to parents would be if the parents did everything within their power to keep bleach from the kid but the kid breaks into the neighbors house, steals an ax, and then spends an hour smashing open the cabinet where the bleach is locked so he can drink it.

Yes. Pine tree seeds are in the pine cones. Oak tree seeds are the acorns that Squirrels gather. In fact I believe all nuts, like walnuts or whatever, are tree seeds.
