the number of centimeters, d, that a spring is compressed from its natural uncompressed position is given by d=sq.rt2w/k,where k is the number of joules of work done to move the spring and k is the spring constant. solve this equation for w. use the result to determine the work needed to move a spring 4 centimeters if it has a spring constant of 0.2

You know how in cardiac bypass surgery ( CABG) , they have to graft a part of another blood vessel to redirect the flow of blood. Why can't they just take out the particles that is clogging the vessel? Sorry if this is a dumb question :l

well im using an op amp in a circuits class and we connected some resistors on a breadboard and were asked to find the gain at different frequencies ( we used a function generator as the power source with a sine wave setting i dont know if that helps) and as i get to frequences of about 100kHz my gain is no longer close to the value i calculated using vin/vout why is this???

please help

the backside of the moon has a crater impact on the other side of it (almost centered), making the moon almost appear to be an eye. What do you think this would have done to our development as early peoples? (such as impact?)

A physicist on planet Mongo is using a device equivalent to Atwood's machine to measure the Mongoian gravitational acceleration gm. He fixes one of the two 0.40kg masses at each end of the rope. While both are at rest, he places a 0.025kg gronch (a toadlike creature) on one of the masses. That body and its wart-covered passenger descend 0.50m before the gronch hops off. The body continues traveling downward another 0.8m in the next 3.0s. Compute gm.

please help me with the question.
I'm stuck for hours on this.

We were assigned these problems to do for homework where we're supposed to find the zeros of these equations (cubic, quartic, all those). I did all the synthetic division and all that, did all the stuff, but then got stuck!

So my question is:

Is the Square root of -19, 19i ?

I thought I was right, but someone told me otherwise.
Am I right? If not, can you explain what the correct answer is and how you got it?

Thanks.
