Yes. The weightlessness causes you to lose bone density and muscle mass, as you are not constantly exerting yourself against gravity and the pressures of air.
That's why you see astronauts working out up there ALL THE TIME.

It's a major problem. Bones begin to to loose density, muscles become weaker and the long term exposure to cosmic rays could be a real problem for anyone traveling to Mars for example. Some of the Russian cosmonauts who spent long periods of time on the Mir space station could not walk under their own power upon returning to Earth,

The only effect I've ever heard about is to cause your muscles to atrophy through disuse. There are probably a few good sites devoted to the science of 'space medicine' which would have information.

It does. Usually the biggest problem is muscle atrophy. Your muscles don't get enough work and begin to deteriorate. Thats why there are special treadmills in spaceships to let your muscles move and get the work they need so they don't begin to deteriorate. There are some other risks but I can't remember them very well, I'm sure some other people can tell you some other stuff :)

space traval has a negative effect on the muscules in your body becouse there is no gravaty so your mucles do not have to be used. if you are out in space for an extended amount of time i'm shure worse things could develpe. but thats the one i deffinetly know of.

Muscles atrophy. Even with exercise, long-term astronauts return to Earth weaker.

You lose the density in your bones and if you want to stay out there, you have to excercise everyday for about 2 hours.

you really should do your own homework, or will never learn a darned thing, what someone tells you, is simply not stored in long term memory, why are you bothering with school if you aren't willing to do your studying on your own. The questin you ask is easily discovered using a search engine and reading what you find. And we wonder why our school kids can't compare with the kids in other nations, they want their education handed to them.
