Some of these galaxies are almost approaching 90% the speed of light. Why does their mass not restrict them moving this fast as nothing with a mass can reach the speed of light, or is it possible in this case.

a slab of mass m1 = 21 kg rests on a frictionless floor, and a block of mass m2 = 9 kg rests on top of the slab. Between block and slab, the coefficient of static friction is 0.30, and the coefficient of kinetic friction is 0.20. The block is pulled by a horizontal force of magnitude 58 N. What is the acceleration of the slab?

√3x + 2 - 2=0

yeah i am just lost, by the way just making sure you understand what the problem is, it's 3x+ 2 inside the √ and - 2=0 is outside of it

One end of a piece of elastic is attached to a point at the top of a door frame and the other end hangs freely. A small ball is attached to the free end of elastic. When the ball is hanging freely it is pulled down a small distance and then released, so that the ball oscillates up and down on the elastic. The depth d centimetres of the ball from the top of the door frame after t seconds is given by:
d = 100 + 10cos500t

Find
a) the greatest and least depths of the ball,

b) the time at which the ball first reaches its highest position,

c) the time taken for a complete oscillation,

d) the proportion of the time during a complete oscillation for which the depth of the ball is less then 99 centimeters.

A 250 kg piano slides 4.2 m down a 30° incline and is kept from accelerating by a man who is pushing back on it parallel to the incline. The effective coefficient of kinetic friction is 0.40.

(a) Calculate the force exerted by the man.
= 376.295 N

(b) Calculate the work done by the man on the piano.
= -1580.439 J

(c) Calculate the work done by the friction force.
= -3564.561 J

(d) What is the work done by the force of gravity?
= ... J

(e) What is the net work done on the piano?
= ... J

I got the first 3 questions; however, how do i find the work done by the force of gravity???????????????
i am so confused . i don't get it so PLEASE HELP!!!!!
I can't solve for the last one, unless if i find the work done by the force of gavity...
