I am a second year Computer Engineering Technology student and I am think about getting work in a recording studio, what you you recommend as far as education goes? The only recoding engineering program in my city is a specialization in a music diploma. I do not necessarily want to got school for 2 years to learn music engineering. I was think about learning more about the equipment and approach the positions as some who knows a bit about the equipment and can do basic troubleshooting.

QUESTION:
You're a pilot on an aircraft carrier. You must fly to another aircraft carrier, now 1450 km at 45 degrees of your position, moving 56 km/h due east. The wind is blowing from the south at 72km/h. Calulate the heading and air speed needed to reach the carrier 2.5h after you take off....HINT: Draw a displacement vector diagram.

Here are the problems im confused with

it says to state whether the number given is a solution to the equation.

1. 14b = 56;b = 4

2. 32 = y divided by 8;y = 256

3. 52 = y divided by 6;y = 256

____________________________________________

Solve each equation. Then check each solution .
Show your work

1. 6v = 792

2. b divided by 18 = 21

3. 19m = 266

4. g divided by 52 = 18

5. z divided by 27 = 63

6. 58 = j divided by 71

For the life of my I cannot solve this equation I know how, but the numbers are so hard to change them to get same coefficients that I always end with with x = 2.34523 and I am fairly sure that the variables equal whole numbers because this is a word problem about price per item.

equation:

1b + 100m + 16d = 435
3b + 18 m + 45d= 435
7b + 6 m + 46d= 435

Thanks for the help...

I'm aware that in the northern hemisphere, low pressure systems circulate counterclockwise and high pressure systems in the northern hemisphere circulate clockwise, etc. However, I really don't understand why this happens; my teacher claims we don't need to know why but I want to know so I can remember it easily. Any explanations?
