A particles position is given by the following expression:

r(t) = Rcos(wt)i + Rsin(wt)j

The magnitude of the velocity, |v(t)| (speed) is given by the expression:

sqrt((-Rwsin(t))^2 + (Rwcos(t))^2)

?Express the magnitude of the particle's acceleration in terms of R and v using the expression obtained for the speed of a particle?

These problems have been driving me crazy for a while and I am still clueless of how to work them out.

Here are the problems:
http://img477.imageshack.us/img477/4169/help1dw1.png

There are only 3.

I'm not expecting nor asking you to directly give me the answer, (I hope you won't!)
I just want to know what steps I would need to make in order to get the answer. Like how exactly do I solve the problem?

Can someone validate this problem for me:

1. Write the product in standard form: (5x-9y) (5x+9y)

---Well, i know that you have to square both the first and last terms seperately, so: First term = 5x, Last term = 9y.

(5x-9y) (5x+9y) = (first term)^2 and (last term) ^2.
= (5x)^2 and (-9y)^2
= 25x^2 + 81y^2

......Is my answer correct, if not please tell me where my mistake was. I would really appreciate it.
