Not A. not necessarily all dominant
Not C. genome is all the DNA in an organism, and the organism only gets half of the DNA from one parent
Not D. that's just the name for DNA.

I found your question because I was looking up genome after reading in a course that I am taking that a genome gets its entire set of genes from one parent. I wanted to learn more about it--but I cannot find this definition on the web-only in my course.

Therefore, my answer is c and I am pretty confident.

I may be wrong, but i think it is D.
Deoxyriboneuclieic acid is DNA, something a child derives from one parent each.
A gamete is a Sex cell that fuses with another gamete in fertilization.
