Hello,
Having some trouble getting sharp images and have been messing with the collimation for a while with no real change. It's a Meade DS-2130At long tube.

While looking down the focuser tube, the reflection of objects in the primary are always blurry. If I put my hand or any object within about 2' of the tube opening, the view is much sharper. Anything beyond about 2' is really blurry. The reflection of my eye in the secondary looks crisp always. I'm seeing this while adjusting in doors.

My question is: Is this normal? If it is normal, could you explain why?

To summarize: The doughnut is blurry but the hole is sharp. Is this normal?

Thanks for any information

1. Which of the following is NOT true for the cellular respiration process?
Question 25 answers T
A>he total amount of ATP that a cell gains for each glucose molecule that enters glycolysis depends on the presence of carbon dioxide.

B>Pyruvate produced during glycolysis enters a mitochondrion during the second stage of cellular respiration.
C>The final electron acceptor in aerobic respiration is oxygen.
D>Acetyl-CoA combines with a four-carbon molecule.

2. Why do plant cells contain both chloroplasts and mitochondria?

A>In the light, plants are photosynthetic autotrophs. In the dark, they are heterotrophs.
B>If plants cannot produce enough ATP to make sugars during photosynthesis, they can produce it during cellular respiration.
C>Sugars are produced in chloroplasts during photosynthesis. These sugars can be stored in the plant for later use during cellular respiration.

I believe in evolution, cause and effect and I accept most of the mainstream theories of theoretical physics just as much as any scientist. I also believe that intelligent design is a possibility. How does evolution disprove God?
Most of the out spoken atheist have a knee jerk reaction to that theory. They also claim they believe in science but most physists actually believe in God or are agnostics. The angry atheist also claim science uses verifiable facts. That's wrong. Parallel universe, multiple dimension and most of quantum physics theories haven't been proven except through reason. There is also reason behind intelligent design. The big one is 'we're here'. I'm tired of the Angry atheist kindergarten arguments for why they don’t believe in the possibility of God. Grow up. Comparing leprechauns and Santa clause to a god that created the universe?

Consider the following differential equations written in parametric form:
r " – r(θ’)^2 + 2sinθ = 0
r(θ ”) + 2*(r ’)(θ’) + 2cosθ = 0
where (‘) = d/dt
subject to initial conditions
r(0) = 1
r ’(0) = 0
θ(0) = π/2
θ’(0) = -1

Show that the solution can be written in the form:
(rcosθ)^2 + rsinθ = 1

At a given party there are n different couples. At this particular party, some people shake other peoples’ hands. No one shakes their own hand, and no one shakes his or her spouse’s hand. After
all the handshaking is said and done, Bob asks the other people at the party how many different peoples’ hands they shook. Strangely, he gets a different answer from every person. Prove by
induction that Bob’s wife, Alice, shakes exactly n hands.

Small spacecraft travelling in deep space. Not subject to gravitational field

the craft is moving at constant velocity = 250 m/s
in the positive x direction. It fires a thruster for a period of 10 s during which time it gives the spacecraft a constant acceleration of 7 ms^-2 in the negative x direction.
What is the velocity of the craft at the
end of this time (I got v = 180 m/s)

A 2nd thruster is fired which gives the craft a constant acceleration of 12 ms^-2 in the + y direction

1. How long will the 2nd thruster have to fire in order
that the speed of the space craft should reach 300 m/s

2. In what direction is the spacecraft travelling
when this speed is attained
