A person looking out the window of a tall office building observes what he suspects is a UFO. The person records the position of the object as a function of time and finds it is given by *r*(t) = -(5.0 m/s)t*i*+ (10.0 m/s)t*j*+ [(7.0 m/s)t - (3.0 m/s2)t2]*k*

(a) Find the displacement, velocity, and acceleration vectors for the object at t = 2.0 s.
r(2s)= ____i +____ j +_____k
v(2s)=____i +____ j +_____k
a(2s)=____i +____ j +_____k

b) Is there a time when the object has a velocity of zero?

c) Is the acceleration of the object constant, or does it change with time?

tan x=3; x in QIII; sin x=?

I think i know the answer to the first one. The Tan would be -1/sqrt3 (you dont have to rationalize) so the cot would be -sqrt3/1 correct?
Thanks!

In each minute a pump draws 2.4m³ of water from a well 5m below ground, and issues it at ground level through a pipe of cross-sectional area 50cm². find:
a) The speed with which the water leaves the pipe
b) the rate at which the pump is working.
If in fact the pump is only 75% efficient (i.e. 25% of the power is lost in the running of the pump), find the rate at which it must work.
