Its not pi. Its only a three significant digit approximation of pi. Or its just a rational number which happens to be near pi.
In any case, if you used that as pi, your solution would only be accurate to three significant digits.

It is NOT really pi, but pi = 3.14 is used to simplify the calculations. Another approximation is 22/7.
