Two folks decided they are right for each other, the third wanna be was left out. Isn't it wrong for the one who didn't make it to take it out on the ones who did by causing them all kinds of trouble within family, friends, society, workplace, etc. anyway he can? What does it say of this kind of individual? Isn't it right that he got left behind on the way side? Should he be looking for someone more like himself instead ? Should we fear him and try and include him in our circle just to keep him in good humor or ignore and move on and tread carefully?

I don't understand the question, actually. When they say "the minumum value," are they asking for a value of f(x)? So the answer would be 1^1 = 1? or 0.5^0.5 = 0.707? I'm confused.

"There are distinct integers m and n such that 1/m + 1/n is an integer."

The only thing I can think of is the values of m and n are +1 and/or -1 for the sum of these fractions to give an integer. Other than that I am lost formulating the proof.

Thanks much for your help!

We recently blew up a small container, and a few feet away there was a small pink light just before the explosion. We videotaped it and found it lasted for less than 1/30th of a second, and now we can't figure out what it is.

#1.)

Ok. The first one shows an open box with an aerial view. It shows 1 ft as the length of all sides and 6 in. the height. There is no cover. I am asked to find the surface area.

This is what I have, but I am not sure:

Front = 12" x 6" = 72"
Back = (same) 72"
Side= (same) 72"
Side = (same) 72"
Bottom = 12" x 12" = 144"
Sum = 432 in.^2, or 36 ft^2

#2) The next one is a bit more difficult to describe.

There is a shape that looks something like this:

___________
)__________| Height 2 cm
<----3 cm------>

It says that the bottom piece is 3 cm, the height is 2 cm, and then there is a cutout of a half circle there on the left. The base on the right side is a right angle of 90 degrees. I need to find the perimeter.

This is what I have so far:

P = 2(l+w)
P=2(3cm + 17 cm)
P=6cm + 150 cm
P=156 cm

Thanks so much in advance for your help!

I've been taking Metronidazole for the last couple of days. Last night I had a really disturbing dream, and I remember the last time I had to take it (several months ago) I did then, too. Since it's the weekend, I can't call my doctor to find out if I should stop taking it. Last time, I called my doctor (a different one) and the receptionist told me they did not offer medical advice over the phone. Does anyone know if this is normal? Or should I stop taking it? I'm concerned because it says mental or mood changes could be a side effect, and I don't know if that includes disturbing dreams.
