to produce a game, it costs $0.95
the fixed costs is $6000
price per game is $1.69

(a) write total costs as a function of the # of games sold.

(b) write verage cost per unit c= c/x as a function of x.

THERE IS A LINE OVER THE FIRST C BEFORE THE EQUAL SIGN.

Please explain these. I also have no clue what the second question means.

I want to understand mechanism of solubility> I know "like dissolves like" i.e. polar substance will dissolve in polar and non-polar will dissolve in non-polar solvent. I have an application involving integrating accelerometer readings to obtain position. The application is essentially a mass/spring/friction problem, but with places where the mass is halted _very suddenly_. The spring force must then build up enough for the mass to break free from where it is stuck. Movement is away from the center of the Earth, so when the mass breaks free it can move upward quickly, overshooting the endpoint of the spring, and then fall back (it doesn't just oscillate, it actually travels over the same interval more than once)

Also:
1) I can process the data at a later time instead of in real time, so I can "looking into the future" data-wise
2) I have an independent measure of average velocity
3) I know my end position as well as starting position
4) There are points where it is very clear that no motion is taking place (velocity = 0) .

For this problem is a Kalman filter the best choice?
Should I restart integration at the zero velocity points?

I want to do an experiment that clearly proves that when you have a limited amount of a heat absorbing materiel (like water), that for the maximum cooling efficiency, it's better to wait before using it to cool the hot object or whatever it is. I did this little one yesterday:


I took two glass beakers with 200mL of 99C water in each. I added 40mL of 25C water to each at separate times. Here are the results:

A (Room temp water added at 1:00 min)
B (Room temp water added at 9:00 min)
