Hello,

First, here is the drawing which shows the situation:

http://img409.imageshack.us/my.php?image=33yb6.jpg

So there is a cored cylinder which radius is R and angular velocity is omega. The cylinder is placed in the the corner so the cylinder touches the wall and the ground. Coefficient of friction between the wall and the cylinder is equal to the coefficient of friction between the ground and the cylinder (this friction coefficient is equal to μ). After how many turns the cylinder will stop to rotate?

Thanks in advance.

given in a table that a noble gas has peaks at followin m/e values....
m/e=10 relative intensity = 2.0
m/e=11 relative intensity =0.2
m/e= 20 relative intensity =17.8
m/e=22 relative intensity = 1.7

the species is Ne..but the questions ask for the symbol for each species for each m/e value...as i knoe the mass of Ne is 20.0g..why is there the m/e=10 and 11 there??

Given question calculate the mass of 1 mol H+ ions.The mass of single electron is 9.1091x 10^-28.Given Avogadro's contant is 6.0225x10^23...Ar of H=1.0078g..

sltn given is by using equation of H -> H+ + e..
1.0078g - (6.0225+10^23)(9.1091 x 10^-28)
= 1.0073g..
my question is WHY the mass of electron has to be multiplied with avogadro's constant while the Ar of H need not to be multiplied with avogadro's constant?..
