Fish, birds, and primates have what we would consider full color vision. In fact, birds actually have four types of color receptors, resulting in a greater depth of color vision than humans, with our three types of receptors. Mammals other than primates only have two types of receptors, which means that they have something that lies between color vision and black-and-white vision. They can detect brightness, and also variations in color along a single axis. (It's like being able to see only blue, yellow, and shades of green, as bright or dim as you like, but nothing with any red in it. Or, if you prefer the optical spectrum to the chromatic one, it's like being able to see red and green light as well as shades of amber, but nothing with any blue in it.) But marine mammals have only one receptor, meaning that they have the equivalent to black-and-white vision, because they can only perceive differences in the brightness of that single color.

hunting birds have excellent eyesight and see in colour, as well as the ends of the spectrum that we can't see (ultraviolet and infrared)

Sharks also have very good eyesight and can see both in water and out of water (great whites will lift their heads out the sea to get a better idea of what's happening)

Dogs have ok eyesight and see some colour.

Snakes have poor eyesight

Moles are blind, as are some bats. However giant fruit bats have very good vision.

Bulls see in black and white but are very good at picking up movement.
