A sample of a vegetable dye scraped from a cave painting was converted to CO2 for C-14 determination. The radioactivity of the CO2 was measured as 3.76 counts per minute per gram of carbon( c.p.m). The C-14 in a living organism has 15.3 c.p.m. and the half-life of C-14 is 5760 yr. How old is the painting in years? (Answer to 3 significant figures and use e notation for power of 10, e.g. 1.23e2 for 1.23 x 102)

Serbian and Montenegro dinar?
I have a bill that is from yugoslavia that is now serbia. It's 10,000 dinar. I'm having a hard time finding out how much it is worth. In some places i think that it is considerd a euro but some say that it's not. I would greatly apperciate it if anyone could tell me what it's worth.

im speaking for all age groups. I look through old yearbooks, and senior classes looked alot older than they do now. And just a couple of years ago, fifty seemed so old, and now sixty seems young. And my parents always told us how old their grandparents seemed, and they dont seem too old. is it just because im getting older too and seeing myself as neither old or young, or are people aging slower these days.

I love Star Wars. I always see huge ships like Imperial Star Destroyers, Republic Cruisers, and The Invisible Hand then I wonder if it is possible to build spacecraft that big. I know that ships that big would be too heavy to be built on Earth so it would have to be built in space but is that possible?

Since it's wrong what theory am I supposed to believe in? I can't remember my exact source but I'm almost sure it's either Carl Sagan or Jessica Alba. You would think it would have made a bigger splash than it did. I'll bet Oprah could get to the bottom of it!

For odd denum:
cos(pi/3) + cos(3*pi/3) + cos(5*pi/3) = 0

for even denum :
cos(pi/4) + cos(3*pi/4) = 0
cos (pi/6) + cos(3*pi/6) + cos(5*pi/6) = 0
etc.

Is there any general formula for this?
I need this to prove sumthin.

Thanks Before.

Say there is a 150 ton steam engine headed on way at 70 m.p.h. and a 60 ton Main battle tank (MBT) headed 40 m.p.h. the other and they collide head on at a combined speed of 110 m.p.h. Which would be me most recoganizable?

The locomotive weighs over 3 times as much and has much more momentum, but the tank is much more heavialy constructed for it's size than the train and pond for pound is much stronger. So what do you think?
