I am doing tensile test for several materials, but I found that modulus of resilience doesn't have any unit, at least not on the internet. Anyone know what's the unit for this ? Providing it is calculated by half of the product of stress and strain.

Compared to Cl− or Br−, in the 2-butanol reaction,

a. H2O is a relatively good nucleophile, because it had to be avoided during the workup procedure.
b. H2O is a relatively poor nucleophile, because no or very little alcohol is observed in the GC.
c. H2O is a relatively poor nucleophile, because it carries no negative charge.
d. H2O is a relatively good nucleophile, because the yield of halides was low due to back-reaction with water.

I have recently moved from Alaska, been in Northwest Washington for only just over a year. I have noticed many Monarch butterflies (in the past couple weeks) and my sister (a 14 year resident) says this is highly unusual. I have tried surfing the net to find out if they prefer warm climate but am unable to find anything, so it seems easier to ask you guys. Are Monarchs more prone to warm weather? Are they more prevelant here due to global warming? Being from Alaska I have already seen the effects of warmer air, ground and water. And although the Monarchs are beautiful, them coming to Nothwest Washington-is that not a good sign?

In my stats class, we're looking at estimates, internal estimations of population mean, confidence interval, etc. I'd like to find a real life example on the net that will show how estimates can be unreliable. Any thoughts?

The most no-nonsense definition I've ever found is dS = δQ / T, which to me could as well translate to сяскыйкийуз!

I never seen trees like this. Growing near Fort Worth, Texas. They grown exceptionally fast and multiply quickly by sending out new trees by their roots. They have broad leaves that seem fuzzy, smooth bark that is slightly fuzzy feeling. No flowers, no seeds that I can find. They lose their leaves in the winter. Their wood is soft and the tree is easy to cut down, but they grow right back and quickly take over because of their huge root system that is shallow. Roots have a yellowish color. They can grow very tall (quickly). They are pretty trees and overwhelm a field quickly. I think they like moist areas. I grew up here and have never seen these before we bought this new place and I can't find them in any books. Does anyone know?
