If you were to do a whole leech test for your DNA after the leech had consumed your blood, you would find only the leech DNA. Your DNA would have been destroyed. A leech produces enzymes that break down the blood.

If you chopped up the whole leach immediately after it sucked your blood, then both would pop up. If you took a piece of it's tail then it would be the leech, just the stomach contents would be all yours. If you waited long enough for the leech to digest it's meal your DNA would be gone entirely.

If it drank your blood, your DNA would show along with the leaches and anything Else that it drank off of. Scientists can decipher multiple DNA

leech's doesn't have their own blood .if they sucked your blood, it shows your DNA.

more thing i know about leech is they produce peptide called hirudin. it is prevent blood clothing.

Very likely its own, rather than yours, unless you made extraordinary efforts to recover your blood sample.
