If there are certian limitations for Humans then it would only be logical to say there is a limit for technology simply becuase technology is made by failable humans

There will be a limit to tecnology, for mankind will not be able to exceed the power of nature. The jetpack was limited to only one, for the James Bond movie, which used up a gallon of gas a minute or so. Unless new creative inventions are invented, human kind will only be able to precede the tecnology with changes to it, and will be limited to it. The Flying Car? Until we find a substance that releases enough energy to float a few tons of metal and will last purely long enough(which seems impossible), we won't ever get to the automobile on the sky, like you see in Star Wars or futuristic movies.
There might not be a limit to technology if we can harness the power of the sun, the brink of which is solar power. If we can totally control the energy of the sun that's given off to us, we can create enormous amounts of products from 100% emission free power and non pollutant energy. The sun emits about 20MiLLion killowatts of power a day, or even more.

I do believe there has to be a limit. However, I don't think we are even close to it yet. If you have ever studied physics then you know the possibilities seem endless right now and new things are being discovered every single day. I think the question of "do we need to make this better or is this good enough?" might come sooner.

No, I don't believe there's a limit. A British physicist named JBS Haldane once said "The universe is not only weirder than we imagine, it's weirder than we can imagine". Reading some articles on physics and maths topics, I realise that there are ideas too subtle for me to ever understand, and the same applies even to the greatest minds. We'll never have a complete definitive explanation of everything.

It's my belief that the only limit to technological advance will come when and if we transcend the need for our phsycial bodys to sustain ourselves.

After all, techology is only different ways of manipulating our environements to suit our physical needs. We must move things, so we invent the wheel, trancending the physical boundry of what could previously be moved. We must proform complex calculations at great speed, so we create computers, trancending the physical boundy of how fast our concious minds are able to process a specific task.

The only way technology will stop evolving is if we run out of oil for fuel and lubricants, we are destroyed by war, or everyone in China goes on holiday and they shut down their factories.

Yes I believe there is a limit to technology. We will never be able to create a real **fly** from scratch.

The technology boom will eventually slow to a crawl. Right now they are mostly finding new ways to use technology we already have.

there was a congressional motion to close the us patent office in 1837,everything that was to be invented was invented,,,,in 1850s scientists firmly BELIEVED that the speed of trains(about 50 mph) was the limit of human tolerance
