A curve has parametric equations x=t+2, y=(1/t)-1 i) Show that the line y=(-x) does not cut the curve. ii) Show the line x+y=3 cuts the curve in just one point, state the value of the parameter at this point, and write down the coordinates of this point. iii) Show that the line 2y-x+3=0 cuts the curve in two points and find the coordinates of these points. Do not use a calculator.

I'm trying to solve systems of equations using matrices function on microsoft excel. For example:

Solve the following system of equations using matrices:

2x+10y+6z = 74
4x+22y+20z = 188
3x+17y+20z = 163

I have no experience with matrices, and don't know what formula in excel to use when I plug these numbers in. Can anyone help??

I started years ago i stayed at my grandma's house and for 4 night in a row i woke up and looked over at the clock at it was 4:44. Another time i was driving with a friend and we saw this house burning and then i looked at the time it was 4:44. Another time me and some friends where at the park and i had my phone in my pocket and i pulled it out and the buttons must of got pushed when i my pocket and it should the numbers 444 not even five minutes later the cops rolled up on us. Does 444 mean something bad does it mean anything at all???? Is this a sign. I sometimes feels presents of things. i even had a dream where i was in the back passenger side of a white car and got into an accident and the next day it really happened. Do i have some kind of powers?>>??? whats the deal with 444 please tell me if you know

Is it not true that the only thing that can effect the global temp is the sun? Is it not also true that in the last few decades the sun has been releasing more sun flares? Does that not mean that maybe we are over exaggerating with green house emissions and global warming being caused by us?

I did my science fair on how the different colors of light affect the production of chlorophyll in the leaves of a common houseplant (philodendron.) I found this topic on a website that also had an experiment where you cover the leaves with sleeves (transperency film) of the different colors of light. (red, green, blue, yellow, clear, and black.) It said to keep the sleeves on the leaves for one week than to record your results in a table of how much chlorophyll each leave produced. I did this one 10 plants and was not pleased with my results. I concluded that it went in this order of what color produced the most chlorophyll: clear, red, yellow, green, blue, then black. This may sound right but studies show that it should go: clear, red, blue, green, yellow, black. I am doing this experiment for another week, but am afraid to get the same results. Why do you think I got these results? By the way, its been very cold where I live (middle of winter) but the plants are still inside! Help!

I would like to know if the high energy radiation from a Linear Accelerator (18 MV) can cause the appareance of white points in the image showed by a PTZ color camera (w/auto focus, zoom, etc.)?.

By the way, I already have installed two CCD small cameras B/W, and work just fine after some shots with 18MV.

I know from Internet reasearch that the Titan Arum is NOT only a huge stinky flower but there is another stage in which it grows into a huge stalk with bushy leaves at the top. BUT WHEN DOES THIS HAPPEN? Does the stalk fall and then a flower grows in it's place? Or does the flower die and then a stalk grows in it's place? Or does the flower grow next to the stalk? I cannot find this info can someone help?

I did a kind of research and the result was that some say that ufo's are the weather balloons or aircrafts, some say that they are some spacecrafts from alien planets and some say that they're from the us army for collecting information from the galaxy and different parts of earth but what is the real truth?
