I would like to know if the high energy radiation from a Linear Accelerator (18 MV) can cause the appareance of white points in the image showed by a PTZ color camera (w/auto focus, zoom, etc.)?.

By the way, I already have installed two CCD small cameras B/W, and work just fine after some shots with 18MV.

I don't think there is enough energy to cause damage to CCD directly. Would lenses be responsible increasing the concentration? On the other hand bombardment with high energy particles and all bets are off.
