I'm wondering: when do you think will be possible to create a working organism (single cell / plant / animal) on computer and then translate that into a DNA sequence that can be made a reallife organism? In short: when will there be DNA compilers, a programming language that can translate into a DNA?

your sock drawer has 25 electric yellow socks, 30 blue striped socks, 17 orange socks, 13 magenta socks, 33 pale purple socks, 30 royal red socks, 11 gruesome green socks, 14 midnight black socks, and 23 bruin brown socks! if you reach into a drawer in the dark, how man socks do you need to pull out to be sure you have a matching pair?

Find the magnitude and direction of the current in the 2.0 resistor in the drawing if R = 3.0 and V = 2.5 V.

I know the direction is left. That's obvious. The thing that is confusing me about this problem is the extra voltage. I'm not sure what to do with it in helping me find the current. If there was only one, then I would definitely know how to do it.
