having a high IQ only means your book smart... like the jack of all trades.... but it doesnt mean that your street smart or a people person..... i have a guy at work and he tries to tell me history and just stuff i dont care about.... he has a high IQ but to me he is just stupid... i rather be life savvy than have a high IQ....

IQ measures one's ability to take certain kinds of tests. That's about it. Pscyhologists then may argue about statistical correlations between IQ and other measurables, such as income, grades completed, length of police record, success as a politician, etc., but you could do the same thing between having good looks and other measurables. To measure one's ability to "change", or adaptability, would just be another test to take with a score that goes with it.

IQ doesnt mean anything what everyone says is that if your IQ is high then your smarter but its not always what you know but in some cases who you know IQ means nothing

It's just a measure of one's intelligence...mostly for bragging to your friends, or as a way to measure someone in history's intelligence.
