12. Fermentation enables glycolysis to continue as long as the glucose supply lasts.
13. Cellular respiration produces more ATP molecules than fermenation does
14. The total amount of ATP that a cell gains for each glucose molecule that enters glycolysis depends on the presence of carbon dioxide.

COMPLETE THE STATEMENTS

We are told by know all experts that we were due the worst winter in decades... it never occured... we were told the other week the big freeze was on... it lasted a couple of days and was still mild compared to most years... and now we are told 2007 will be the hottest year on record !! We are told all sorts of things by climate experts and nothing bears out... why is this? Do you think it's because they talk a load of bunkum telling us what is going to happen and know full well simple minded people will believe them and they wont be proved wrong until they have earnt a fortune with their guff and retired on the proceeds thank you so much? They cant even predict the week aheads weather accurately so why should we believe all this climate change rubbish? Is there REALLY any solid proof, proof what will convince a non-believer or is it like the bible... you need blind faith to believe them?

This question is only for the enlightened ones! This was supposed to go in Physics section but somehow went to Maths one. So reposting over here.

Can we truly have an unbiased event? All events which we call as unbiased are so because we cannot, at this stage, account for all the forces affecting the outcome.
For example, tossing a coin or rolling a dice is not an unbiased event as the outcome for the same can be predicted if we know all the intial conditions and the forces acting on coin/dice.
So can we really have an unbiased event? Some long ago told me that it happens in the world of quantum mechanics, but I am not sure.
Can someone throw some light on it?
