Great question! lol! Hamsters are rodents and all rodents have teeth which continue growing as long as they are alive. Any animal which has teeth as weapons is dangerous to humans and other animals. But hamsters are not predators, so it would probably not be a threat to humans unless it was protecting itself. Although they are mainly herbivores, they do eat insects at the size they are now, so if they were larger, they might get a taste for larger meaty meals!

I'd have to say so. Lions are very large animals. The second largest big cat on earth. In knowing this I farther know that a hamster would be large as well. With its front teeth as a major weapon it would sort of resemble a buck toothed pig. A large rodent with huge rotten teeth. That would be scary. Hamsters are fairly quick on their feet too. With this said, the hamster would be around 4-5 feet tall and around 7-8 feet long and could inflict injury on you just by charging at you or biting you with its teeth. Considering that I'd say a hamster would be very dangerous. It's a weird question but, hey, you wanted to know. Just imagine it inside one of those balls, it would be like a steam roller. Well I hope I've answered your question.

Any wild animal can be dangerous. lion sized hamsters would destroy fields, but would not be an agressive predator. Wild hamsters, by the way,can grow up to 12 inches long, not quite lion sized, but they'd give your cat a run for his money.

What about if a lion was the size of a hamster. Would it make a cute little pet or would it bite your fingers off?!

it would surely be dangerous to the enviroment by chewing through woods and if hamsters met then two of them might have a big and fierce fight. it would surely need more food (nuts, vegetables, fresh fruit) and it might change the food change.
