When I was a kid, we saw flying saucers all the time. We used to lie out in the grass at dusk and look for them. Of course there were a lot fewer street lights then, and the view of the night sky was much better.
Usually, the flying saucers we saw looked a lot like the ones in the latest hit movie about invaders from space. Some of these sightings were more believable--or less explainable--than others.
Then we found out about girls, and we lost interest in flying saucers. We all saw things we had never seen before.
Later I was a professional pilot for many years. Flying at high altitudes and all kinds of conditions, we routinely saw object in flight that we could not identify. We knew most of them were aircraft that appeared odd because of the angle at which we saw them or they were atmospheric phenomena.
There are some classic cases of things flying around that appeared both visually and on radar at once, and cannot be explained in the ordinary way of things. I was never involved in any of those "What the fvck was that?" type incidents, but I know pilots that have been, and I believe what they say.
So the answer is, "Yes and no--I think."

Aliens

Poems are like flying saucers at dusk in nineteen fifty-five in boy
hood small town
“If you believe in em you'll
see em
look long enough you'll
see one”
Electric
Magnetic
With people inside just like us only
prettier
smell better
finding here through swirls of light and banks and snowdrifts of stars
never wondered where god is in all that
the clean people watch the spherical compass
that glows the color of oily pools in the edge of the
street after a rain
II.
lie in the grass at dusk
scrutinize the sky to descry the silver ships
they fly with a sound like running
your finger around a wine glass
And they are more just
more in love with it all
than we
And they were more numerous in nineteen fifty-five
but not written
get your flashlight
sail a silver hubcap past my window at dusk

I have seen it on a home video taken by a friend about 8 years ago. It was a bright saucer hovering in the sky. The time was late night, maybe around 8 or 9pm in the suburbs. It stayed in one place for a couple of minutes and then moved very quickly to another location and kept changing the position and finally gone away... That's the most reliable source for me and I believe they do exist because I have seen it. It was a home video taken by a friend and the tape is not tampered.
Skeptics say it's an optical illusion. If they think so, why can't they prove it and do a reliable demo?

Back in the 70's I saw 4 or 5 lights in the sky on a clear starry night. They moved around a little, lined up in a strait line and flew off. I've often wondered what they were, thought they were those lights they use to attract people to store grand openings, but it was at 11pm and a clear night and they didn't look like them. So to me, they were some kind of UFO.

Technically, yes. I saw an Object moving through the sky (Flying), which - to this day - is Unidentified.
It looked like somthing up there had exploded. It appeared to be a ball of pink-colored flames. So it didn't look like you average meteor. I suspect it was the type of meteor that's called a fireball, but cannot get confirmation. I'm pretty sure it wasn't an aircraft that was destroyed in midair, since there was nothing about it in the news....

Once while driving on the freeway, I saw what appeared to be a large rotating UFO that was shaped like a 3 pronged boomerang. I continued looking at it for a while, then realized that it was a typical airliner.
Optical illusion.

I am a Raelian, we believe that UFO's have been visiting us for many thousands of years and it was the astronauts off these UFO's that were mistaken for Gods!
Our prophet Rael was contacted by one of these scientists who informed him that it was them that created all life on earth and it was them that started all of the religions in the world. He told our prophet to prepare for there arrival and to build an embassy so that they may come and go as they please.
I know this sounds crazy but have a look at our website...
