We are told by know all experts that we were due the worst winter in decades... it never occured... we were told the other week the big freeze was on... it lasted a couple of days and was still mild compared to most years... and now we are told 2007 will be the hottest year on record !! We are told all sorts of things by climate experts and nothing bears out... why is this? Do you think it's because they talk a load of bunkum telling us what is going to happen and know full well simple minded people will believe them and they wont be proved wrong until they have earnt a fortune with their guff and retired on the proceeds thank you so much? They cant even predict the week aheads weather accurately so why should we believe all this climate change rubbish? Is there REALLY any solid proof, proof what will convince a non-believer or is it like the bible... you need blind faith to believe them?

I too have difficulty beleiving in all the brainwashing we are having pumped at us. I thought the sea was on the rise. I looked at it the other day and it is no higher than it has ever been. The weather hasnt been excessive either way. just another year as far as i can see. I think its just a cash cow for governments to milk even more money out of us with environmental charges to combat climate change.
I dont believe a single word of it. Cash cow, plain and simple

people are so gullible. An expert tells them something and so many blindly believe it without question. It is good some things are being done for the environment but on the whole I feel the same as you. What was the excuse for 1976 being the last hottest year and why had it not been hotter ever since? Weather cycles plain and simple. Just like 11 year propagation for radio DX conditions, weather comes in cycles and these so called experts jump on the bandwagon saying anything to prove the theory. Bunkum mate, absolute bunkum

No, it is all speculation but someone will be right and the media will crown them. Look, weather and climate is cyclical. There is no solid evidence that the world is getting warmer. We have been mild the last couple of years in the Northeast but a few years ago we had a very cold winter. When we had all those hurricanes in 2005, 2006 was supposed to be just as bad. WRONG. We had a friggin ice age. Did everything melt due to global warming? Humans have had an effect on some local weather features but more because they made grassy surfaces paved which absorbs heat. Overall, though, the atmosphere is not getting warmer.

The earth is preparing for major changes.
There are several maps that tell what parts of the earth will be under water, the Continental shifts will displace the whole planet. Land will appear out of the oceans and and mountains will crumble.
Some maps show California will separate from the main land, becoming an island and some say that the Mississippi river will be 50 miles across.. There will be islands that disappear.
The latest date that I know of now is set for the year 2015. There will be slight changes until the Earth changes occur.
Some maps show that New Mexico will be beach front property.
When the Earth changes begin, RUN to high places and I don't mean run upstairs.

The fact the the experts are no longer able to "predict" climate changes and weather patterns should tell you that it's not "bunkum".
