5. U r standing perfectly still & then u take a step forward. Before the step your momentum was 0, but aftereward u have some momentum. Is the conservation of momentum violated in this case? (what is the conservation of momentum?)

12. U r watching a movie about a superhero & notice that the superhero hovers in the air & throws a piano at some bad guys while remaining stationary in the air. What's wrong with this scenario? (I rlly don't know).

13. In golf, novice players are often advised to be sure to "follow through" w/ their swing. Why does this make the ball travel a longer distance if a shot is taken near the green, little follow-through is required. Y? (Again, I need help ppl).

15. A sharpshooter fires a rifle while standing w/ the butt of the gun against his shoulder. if the forward momentum of a bullet is the same as the backgward momentum of the gun, y isn't it as dangerous to be hit by the gun as by the bullet?

In most of these "big rock coming to earth" movies they just nuke it or something like that. In real life what would be the actual solution or do we just hope for the best?

It is similar to a monopoly board--that is it is segmented into 8 sections along each side and 4 corner squares. How can I figure out what dimensions each of the corner sqaures must be to fit neatly with the uniform rectangles making up the 8 sections on each side? For instance, If I make the rectangle sections 2 inches wide by 3 inches tall, what will be the dimensions of each of the corners sections? I'm not interested in the answer. I want to know what formula/algorythm to use, given any dimensions of one of the 8 rectangle sections. Thanks.

Some articles listed the estimated age of the sun and planets surrounding it.

I am just wondering, what technology do they use to do that calculations? Is it Gamma rays or I don't know, some other technology?
