Ants...yes as for Roaches...NO. Roaches survived the meteor that caused the dinosaurs to go extinct. It's kind of the running joke.

The only way the roach will ever go extinct is if the surface of Earth is incinerated down to the mantle.

yes. even if nothing is ever more sucessful (something more sucessful will evolve) the world wil be fried by the sun when it turns into a red giant.
