I have never seen one like this before. It looks like it could be a shore bird, although I see it at our community 3-hole golf course greens, about 3 miles from the Pacific in central California It is slim, has long legs like a shore bird, looks a lot like and is the size of a plover. Except it has a long white neck with a narrow black ring in the middle. And has a yellow beak. The back, wings and head are grey, the underside is off-white. It seems used to people and walks slowly along the short grass seeking grubs. I have only seen it for a week and have not seen it in flight.
I have searched my bird books and googled but see nothing just like

Find the position vector of the point D such that ABCD is a parallelogram. I used AB=DC where AB and DC are vectors and AB=DC in terms of their magnitude but couldn;t find a valuse for p.

OA= 2i + 3j - 4k
OB= 5i - j + 2k
OC= 11i + pj +14k

Can anyone help me see if p can be found through the magnitude thing? cause i got p^2 + 8p +83=0 when i used AB=DC but the equation can not be solved.

There's a lot of stuff here, but please if you're in doubt just keep reading. It might be a little hard to follow but that's because these are scientists. I believe that's why most creationalists keep shutting out the evolution theory, because they don't understand it! They need to be more UP to date with current data. The evolution theory is a theory, and we learn more and more every day about it. Now a theory is not just a normal "guess" it's the best guess we have from the present day knowledge we have and has been repeatedly tested (hundreds of times) and blah blah blah. Anyways, here is a link you guys doubting the evolution theory.

http://www.talkorigins.org/faqs/comdesc/

please read it completely and don't just stop reading because it's too hard. Just skip the section that you don't understand. I have many more scientific links if you want more. I'm just tired of people saying that there's no proof...

I don't mean as in a photograph, I mean the light itself. Such that using this material during the day would later give you an accurate account of every last photon that hit it from any direction. Thus giving you color, intensity, and direction that could later on be used for other purposes. The ideal of this material would be the ability to than release the stored light again, as if you had cought it in a mirror and stored it until you chose to see the reflection.

Find a vector which is perpendicular to both AB and BC.

I only managed to form two equations which is AB.v=0 and BC.v=0 where v is the unknown vector and AB and BC are vectors.
I need one more equation as i have three unknowns so what more can you extract out from the question?
one more information is that A,B and C are not collinear.

Information if you want to work out the problem:
OA= i + j + k
OB= 2i + 3j+ 4k
OC= -i - 4j - 7k

Six columns represent the average score for a student on six 20-point quizzes. The average is 14, but to obtain a satisfactory grade, an average of 15 is needed. The teacher gives two options to raise the average: (1) Throw out the lowest quiz score and base the average on the five remaining quiz scores or (2) take a seventh 25-point quiz to raise the average. Which of these options should the students choose if the lowest score on the six quizzes was 10 points?
