I heard that a British spy was recently exposed (purposely) to the radioactive Polonium 210. I know that this is radioactive and it causes
cancer, along with other physical problems. Is Polonium 210 a radioactive element or isotope?

I have a question already up...I didn't mean for people to think they should do it for me, I'm very confused about how to use the Gaussian method on this one. I would just like someone to help me point out how to begin doing this problem. The problem is labeled something like Teacher defines polynomials by T0, T1, T2...

I realize that the compound As2O3 is an acidic oxide, but I am not quite sure what sort of balanced equation to use to prove its acidity. I am planning on using As2O3 + H2O, but I can't remember how to figure out exactly what this yields. I assumed that it was H3AsO4, but I couldn't balance the equation with this, so it seems as though it might yield H3AsO3. I should know how to formulate my balanced equation properly, but apparently I have forgotten what steps to take.

Am I using the right reactants? If so, what should my product be?

Thanks for your help. =)

Consider the curve y=f(x), where f(x)= (x^2-1)/(x+2). Prove using the algebraic method, that f(x)>=a or f(x)<=b, where a and b are exact values to be determined.

Can you show me what is the so called algebraic method?

In about 4-5 billion years, the Sun will run out of hydrogen fuel and will start expanding and turning into a Red Giant. Temperatures on Earth will reach thousands of degrees, the sunlight will become blindingly bright, our oceans and atmosphere will evaporate, we might get swallowed up by this Red Giant... pretty much, if we stay on Earth, we're doomed. Do you think humankind will be around to see that happen? If so, what do you think we will do about it?

Ahhh, so depressing...

Hi, i know this will be very wierd question and no one will be able to answer accurately.

Based on the theory of relativity, as the speed of object increase distance in 3-D decreases (warping of distance occurs).. If i travel with the speed of light -- time will come to halt...My question is what will happen to space ? space will not exists, it will be completely warped, it cannot exists even as a point, (not the ideal definition of point being hyphothetical unit which occupy 0 space and is indivisible)..
Moreover light -- which travel with the speed of light-- how space will be defined for it -- it won't exist according to this theory...

Tea bags contain herbal medicines specifically the leaves. These leaves contain caffeine. After doing an experiment on the extraction of caffeine using chloroform, the result showed 0% recovery of caffeine. What could be the possible reason for this? We followed the right procedures and were very meticulous in doing the experiment. The tea bags used were Tsaang Gubat Tea. Does this mean that Tsaang Gubat doesn't contain caffeine?

Please I need your answers and explanations. Thanks!
