I was given the hint to add both linear equations:
2x + 5y =20
-2x + 5y = 10

and I have to find both X and Y.

I came up with:

0 + 10y = 30

so x=0 and y=3

but I plugged the numbers in and it's obviosuly wrong. Can someone please help, I feels stupid, this is probably really easy...

I'm serious here.
Now by gasoline i mean regular gas, that you put in your automobile.
I expectantly understand that it's very likely to produce vomiting, but are there any other effects?
Also how long (on average) would you expect before these symptoms set in?
Don't worry I'm NOT encoraging poisoning, and obviously don't intend to do this myself.
But i really was wondering has there been any research on the matter.

For me...
TN rocks, KY sucks!

Tennessee: As a Texan, I can relate to TN people well. Very laid back, mellow, friendly, warm. Just a great place to be. Beale St. in Memphis, Opry in Nashville, the Smokies in the east, Jack Daniels, Kentucky Lake, Reelfoot Lake, Oak Ridge, so many neat things to see and do. There are four distinct seasons, but winter is still relatively mild (well, cold by Texas standards, but still...) Plus, it's a football state! It also has great schools like Rhodes, Vanderbilt, UT, Belmont, and the Univ. of the South.

Kentucky: beautiful state, but that's it. I found people there to be impolite and pretentious, small towns are very "set in their ways" and clandestine, the drivers are terrible, and the educational system is worse. (Plus, I can't stand all of the obnoxious UK fans around Lexington.) Even though it has neat landmarks such as Mammoth Cave, KFC, and Keeneland, I try to spend as little time there as I can while visiting family or on business.

As I understand the theory, it states that the entire Universe as we know it began as a tiny pinpoint containing all that exists in the universe, including space and time itself...born out of a "singularity"...which would make it the same thing as a black hole.
With our less than thorough knowledge of black holes and singularities, it makes me wonder if there may actually be such a thing as a LIMIT to how much mass a black hole can have before it reaches a point of "critical mass" and blows up like another "big bang"...creating a "new universe" NOT IN ANOTHER DIMENSION, BUT IN OUR OWN DIMENSION!!!...wiping out and negating all that is in our own universe in the process.
Could it be that "our universe" was once the most massive black hole in a previous universe that got wiped out when our "big bang" occured??? I actually hope I'm wrong...it's a scary idea.
Any thoughts?

because people are trying to find meaning and are bored of their existence?
Or is it even more sinister?? Deceiving spirits in disguise, is this spiritual rather than physical with regard to the bizarre movements of sighted UFOs and the way they are purported to appear & disappear?

I have two circuit boards that I removed from a CNC machine. The machine shop where it is recently machined a block of graphite, which the shop owner now regrets. Graphite dust filled the air and got all over everything. It also got into a lot of electronics, which is bad since graphite is electrically conductive. Fortunately, the boards I removed hadn't exploded yet so I have some hope of repairing them. The first thing I need to do is remove the dust without further damaging the boards. I'm wondering if anyone out there has had experience with this and if so, what is a good solvent for this? Should I just use my usual soap and water?
