A teacher picks two consecutive whole numbers between 1 and 5. She tells John what one of the numbers is and tells Sheila the other one. John and Sheila then have the following conversation:

John: I do not know your number.
Sheila: I do not know your number.

What number was given to Sheila?

Hint: consecutive numbers are beside one another, so 8 and 9 are consecutive but 10 and 12 are not.

I was just wondering if anyone out there finds birds as incredibly beautiful and fascinating as I do, I really am astounded sometimes by the sheer diversity of bird species on this planet and how unique and specialised birds can be.. and how many different songs and sounds they all make. I really love watching birds and listening to them, finding out what species they are etc, the bird world never ceases to amaze me! If I had to pick just one favorite I guess it would have to be the Common Loon because they are so pretty and make the most beautiful sounds.... Whats your favorite bird species and why??

You want to look at the actual document, and not the HTML.

If you can help run me throught it, that would be fantastic!

For "A" i tried to use the eqution F = -kx to solve (using the second graph), but im not sure if that is allowed.

Totally lost!

Any help would be great!
