because people are trying to find meaning and are bored of their existence?
Or is it even more sinister?? Deceiving spirits in disguise, is this spiritual rather than physical with regard to the bizarre movements of sighted UFOs and the way they are purported to appear & disappear?

So far we've seen no verifiable evidence of other sentient species. That said, I believe with some certainty that somewhere in our galaxy at some past, present, or future time, a sentient species did/does/will exist.

Why haven't we heard from them?

Perhaps they are not technologically advanced enough to be heard. They may be mastering stone knives right now, or experiencing their own Rennaisance.

Perhaps they are here right now. Any species sufficiently advanced to travel interstellar distances would be able to hide or masquerade with ease. That Boeing 737 that just flew by may be a surveillance craft.

Perhaps they are so far away they will never notice us and vice versa.

Perhaps they existed a million years ago and died out.

Perhaps they will exist a million years from now.

It is really impossible to know for sure.

The Drake Equation suggests that there is sentient life out there. The Fermi Paradox casts doubt. Play around with the calculation form at the second link and see what you think.

It is not a hoax.

Two friends of mine and I saw a UFO. We were inside an office, during a meeting. It was strange. All three of us were kind of hypnotized, as we gazed out the window, staring at what looked like a steel ball, bouncing through the sky, about 10 to 15 miles away.

After the UFO disappeared behing a mountain, we sat dazed for a while. I finally spoke up and asked, "Did you guys see what I think I saw?" They said yes. We were kind of shook up. Very strange experience.

Since then I have investigated UFOs and paranormal activity, and have met persons who have out of body experiences and who have seen UFOs.

It is real.

What are UFOs, and are there extraterrestrial aliens? I say this much... some UFOs are indeed from earth and top secret aircraft. Others, however, are from other worlds. Some of these UFOs are probes, and unoccupied, Others are indeed occupied with extraterrestrial beings. They are not necessarily of super intelligence, but by random chance they discovered the secret of space travel, just as some of the scientific discoveries on Earth have occurred by chance.

Other alien beings perhaps possess super intelligence. Some are good, and others are evil. As the universe is infinite, or at least so vast that it is infinite to earth beings, the probability of the existence of beings from other planets who can travel through space is relatively high.

Well if they are visiting its about time they landed and put this whole world of religious confusion and conflict to bed.
They'll have the answers - They've been visiting forever... The sooner they arrive to tell the truth the better for mankind.

The Catch 22 is they probably never will land and explain because as observers just Imagine what they see - Countries and religions at war with each other death and destruction starvation and corruption!!!!

Who in their right mind would come here if you were an alien????

properly it truly is the question isn't it? the most smart or perchance least confusing answer to that query will be to say it does sound unreasonable. although; are you able to assert it really is low priced that from the thousands probable thousands of pronounced circumstances of sightings of unknown flying crafts that everybody of them will be defined away as no longer something... in case you could say sure to that; Then i'd might want to say it truly is an unreasonable answer. it isn't a black and white situation. sensible, different sightings pronounced will be defined as overactive imaginations, mistakenly figuring out an merchandise as a flying saucers, or perhaps some as outright hoaxes...everyone i imagine would say that became the case, yet evaluate this.... if even a fragment of the comments were authentic and some persons surely talked about something of unknown beginning flying by the sky.. then you would might want to concede their is intelligence available in outer area that we've not started to describe or completely understand. so it truly is the question contained in the answer.

Anyone who can't identify every light in the sky has seen a UFO. But to leap from that observation to "the best explanation for this phenomena is a heretofore unknown alien intelligence visiting us in spaceships" is goofy.

Funny how the frequency of UFO reports is inversely proportional to a knowledge of the night sky.

People truly believe in them, but that doesn't necessarily mean it's a hoax. There have been many cases of mass delusions in the past. Once the details come out about one so called alien abduction, other people who are susceptible to these things start believing they were abducted, too. And surprise surprise the details of their abduction are just like the first person's abduction. I think it is a psychological phenomenon, but I don't think anyone is deliberately faking it.

i actually had a sighting once, it was the classical sphere shape but it was behind a cloud, so i could only see it's Shadow, hope you understand that? they were building the motorway at the time, from Cardiff to Swansea,it was moving from one end to the other at a fair speed as if it was observing the construction.
obviously some people are hoaxers, and some are mistaken, and others are genuine, i hope that i am the latter, i know I'm not a hoaxer

UFOs and ghosts are REAL!

. . . so is Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny and the lost city of Atlantis.
plus Elvis is alive, OJ was innocent, Michael Jackson never molested any boys, Clinton never had sexual relations and Bush has a secret exit strategy to get out of Iraq.

I believe in Aliens and UFOS because a friend of mine and myself have seen one once VERY VERY upclose. Thirty minutes later, Government officials called and told my Mother they were doing an "experiment" and not to worry. Later we found out that no such experiment ever took place. However, my boyfriend DOES believe that the Government has made crafts that have been misinterpreted as an Alien Arial Phenomenon. But not all of them
