If:
x^x = 10 (x to the power of x is 10)
How do you find the value of x?

I am pretty sure it requires basic log, but I not sure how to use it. Thanks.

In genetics a locus is a fixed position on a chromosome, such as the position of a gene. The chromosomal locus of a gene might be written "6p21.3". Here the 6 is the chromosome number. The letter p indicates that the position is on the chromosome's short arm (example from Wikipedia).

So would a scientist read this out loud as "six P two one dot three" for instance?

A uniform rod of mass 3.15×10−2 kg and length 0.380 m rotates in a horizontal plane about a fixed axis through its center and perpendicular to the rod. Two small rings, each with mass 0.250 kg, are mounted so that they can slide along the rod. They are initially held by catches at positions a distance 5.20×10−2 m on each side from the center of the rod, and the system is rotating at an angular velocity 34.0 rev/min. Without otherwise changing the system, the catches are released, and the rings slide outward along the rod and fly off at the ends.

My previous question on evolution, it is a theory, the fact remains that ALL was created , has been here for us , it might change , but we did not change it ,Nature did! We did not come out of nothing! There is Intelligence in all we see , in ourselves , in our lifes , and the ones who unstable have created havoc for our children! Look at the mess in our schools, prayer is not allowed any longer ,on the whim of some sick person ,who cannot understand the world , creation , ourselves and most of all that ;the greates things are those we can not see! Big Bang? and just how do you suppose the Bang came from eh? We are like spots in this marvelous universe!
