what property do bactericides posses that allowes them to to diffuse into cell membranes? Explain the diffusion of these molecules from agar into the cell..

no not only lipids do because iodine, oxygen, glucose can all diffuse...nice try though

the bacteria's cell membrane is semi permeable to certain molecules. bacteriacides probably have some form of "nutrient" in them to confuse the bacteria into taking it in. It is sort of like rat poison.

Only lipids diffuse into/through cell membranes. So, bactericides must be lipids.
