For the systems of linear equations in questions 1-3
-Determine how many solutions exist
-Use either elimination or substitution to find the solutions (if any)
-Labeling the x-intercepts, y-intercepts, and points of intersection

1. y = 2x + 3 and y = -x - 4

2. 2x + 3y = 8 and 3x + 2y = 7

3. x + y = 3 and y = x + 3

4. A university bookstore recently sold a wirebound graph-paper notebook for $2.50, and a college-ruled notebook for $2.30. At the start of spring semester, a combination of 50 of these notebooks were sold for a total of $118.60. How many of each type were sold?

5. A shopper buys three oranges and five lemons for $10.26, while a second shopper buys four lemons and six oranges for $11.16. What is the price of each fruit?

6. In a triangle, the sum of the interior angles is 180 degrees. If angle A is three times as large as angle B, and angles B and C sum to 90 degrees, what is the measure of each angle?

It had a black body, about 4 green stripes going from top to botom, a large white dot(lower back) with a red cross(maybe dot, it was small marking) in the middle of it and an orange dot(on it's butt) below the white one. It was a little bigger then a nickle including it's legs. I saw it on a door jam in california, the building had trees and dry grass all around it.

x_1 and y_1 are given, x_1>y_1>0

x_n+1 = (x_n+y_n)/2
y_n+1 = sqrt(x_n*y_n)

a)proof y_n< y_n+1
b)proof y_1 < x_n+1 < x_n

c)proof 0<(x_n+1) - (y_n+1)< (x_1 - y_1)2^n

d)explain why {x_n} and {y_n} are convergent and have the same limit

anything will help
Thank you all of u guys
